From Game Changing Guitar Straps to Rockin’ Socks and Wagging Tails: Perri’s Unstoppable Passion

It all kicked off in 1998. Back then, the business had just 50 designs, 3 machines, and a tiny 500-square-foot space, but Anthony Perri had big dreams fuelled by his love for business and music. That’s how Perri’s Leathers was born—starting strong with “full airbrushed” guitar straps that caught everyone’s eye and a commitment to quality that set Perri’s apart.

By the late 2000s, Perri’s was no longer just a small family-run operation. It had grown fast, with Perri’s guitar straps now in the hands of musicians worldwide and Perri’s products in 700 retailers. But Anthony wasn’t about to stop there. He wanted to pump more energy and excitement into the guitar world, so he started producing officially licensed guitar straps and picks featuring legendary bands and iconic brands like Elvis, AC/DC, and Pink Floyd. Musicians couldn’t get enough, and neither could Perri’s.

The journey wasn’t always smooth, but the Perri family kept pushing forward. With his wife’s full support, Anthony’s kids, Louie and Catheryne, jumped in full-time, and their youngest, Selena, inspired a line of charitable guitar straps and picks, with proceeds supporting Boston Children’s Hospital.

The passion didn’t just stop at guitar straps. Perri’s Leathers evolved into Perri’s Corporation, expanding into pet products and socks, all while staying true to Perri’s roots. Perri’s customers were connecting with the music and pop culture scene, so Anthony upped his game, adding even more licensed gear to the lineup.

Today, Perri’s Corporation offers not just killer guitar straps but also an exciting range of pet products and socks. The product collections boast Perri’s impressive in-house, in tune with the pulse, designs and also many of the most notable names in music and pop culture. Some to note are, Elvis, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Tupac, David Bowie, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, and more—plus brands like Fender, The Smurfs, Ace Ventura, Halloween, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Disney, and The Smithsonian. What started as a small dream has turned into a global brand, but Perri’s commitment to quality and passion for music and pop culture are still as strong as they were on day one.
